Why Palm Harbor Charters

Established in 2018, Palm Harbor Charters is proud to be a Florida-owned and operated business. We discovered that our interpretation of luxury boat tours in Central Florida had been missing. We decided to fill that need.

Our highly skilled staff has years of experience boating, so you can rest assured that you are in the best hands possible. We are fully licensed and safety trained for the welfare of our passengers. Enjoy a premium charter or rental experience, taking in the beautiful ocean landscapes of Florida. Visit secluded destinations or nearby attractions such as Tarpon Springs, Florida, to try authentic Greek cuisine. Or swing by the white sandy beaches of Clearwater or the remote and tranquil Three Rooker Island.

Explore the stunning views at Anclote Key or go island hopping; you can choose to swim, snorkel, go shelling, or sunbathe on the deck.

Renting & Chartering in Tarpon Springs

Boating on Florida's West Coast, Tarpon Springs is ideal for cruisers and boating enthusiasts. Tarpon Springs is roughly 15 miles north of Clearwater and is home to the Anclote River. To get a better understanding of the waterways, we suggest reviewing NOAA Chart 11411. All of our journeys start and end at the primary entrance of the Anclote River, which has access to the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway.

Anclote Key Lighthouse

The Anclote Key Lighthouse was built in 1887, designed to mark the entrance into the Anclote River. The Florida State Preserve, a barrier island, is home to at least 43 species of birds, including the bald eagle and the American oystercatcher. Anclote Key is only accessible by boat and offers excellent fishing, snorkeling, and shelling. To reach the island, boaters must traverse a 2.5 mile stretch of open water.

Three Rooker Island

Three-Rooker Bar is a small barrier island that has emerged within the last decade. As the island emerged, it quickly became vegetated, increasing its stability. It is considered, by most standards, to be a "locates" island with many boats parked and music playing.

Caladesi Island State Park

Caladesi Island is one of Florida's few remaining undeveloped barrier islands and looks like it should be a screen saver on your desktop computer. It is the perfect place for boaters who want soft white sandy beaches and calm waters.
